Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a peaceful Sunday today.
For today's holiday showcase I wanted to show you these lovelies...
I call these Moonstone Peacock Chandelier Earrings. During the holiday season lots of people go to holiday parties. And if I had to choose, which of my jewelry pieces I would most likely wear for the special occasion, it would most likely be these earrings.
Note: Don't worry! These are new, as in, I have never actually worn these... :)
Ok! So lets get into the details...
As you can probably tell from their name I used genuine Moonstone, they are the beads that have a diamond shape to them and have a milky AB (aurora borealis) hue. Each earring has 8 moonstone beads. On the very bottom of each strand, you have a small clear AB swarovski crystal dangling.
But wait, there's more!
If you look in the center of each earring, you have a silver accent component. It has a diamond shape. And yes! Those rhinestone crystals you see, 6 in each, are actually round clear swarovski crystals with an AB finish.
Now, here is where the "peacock" comes in... On the very top, I used a freshwater pearl that is dyed in a beautiful color. Or should I say, "colors". The pearl itself has a silvery purplish hue, that depending on the light can have flickers of green or teal.
Add that, to my lovely AB swarovski crystals, then you get a whole array of colors going on. You know how peacock feathers are known to have multiple colors, such as emerald green, deep purple, teal, and blues?
In fact, that's how I got the name of "peacock". That, as well as the round crystals in the silver component. They kind of reminded of peacock feather.
Ok, that was a long explanation! haha :)

Length: 2 1/2 inches. Wired in silver. With silver lever back closures. Oh, and these are one of a kind.
